Terms of Use

Last updated 9 October 2026

Use Take01 to make your videos. Your content is yours, it stays on your iPhone, and you’re responsible for what you record and share.

The app

Take01 is a teleprompter for iPhone and iPhone Duo. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. If you got Take01 from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Your content

Your scripts, recordings, captions, name and logo are yours. Take01 stores them only on your device and never sends them to us. You’re responsible for what you record and share, including having the rights to any names, logos, music or other material in your videos and in scripts or campaign packs you send to others.

Fair use

Don’t use Take01 to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or record people without their consent where that’s required. Don’t try to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.

Speech recognition

Take01 uses Apple’s speech recognition to follow your script and hear voice commands. For some languages Apple may process audio on its servers, under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

No warranty

Take01 is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be error-free or that recordings will never be lost. Keep copies of videos that matter to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost recordings or data. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date. Using Take01 after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
