Privacy Policy

• No account, no sign-in.
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind.
• No servers: we never receive your scripts, recordings, captions, name or logo.

Your scripts, recordings (takes), captions, branding and settings are saved only on your device, in the app’s own storage. They’re included in your iPhone backups like any other app data, under your control. Deleting the app deletes them.

• Camera: to record you and show your framing while you read.
• Microphone: to record your voice and follow the script as you speak.
• Speech recognition: to follow your script, hear “Go” and “Cut”, and time the captions. Where your iPhone supports the language on device, speech is recognised on your iPhone. For some languages Apple may process audio on its servers, under Apple’s privacy policy; Take01 never receives it.
• Photos (add only): to save the videos you export, when you choose to. Choosing a logo uses the system photo picker, which gives Take01 only the image you pick.

You can change any of these in Settings › Privacy & Security at any time.

Nothing leaves your iPhone unless you send it. When you export a video or share a script or campaign pack, it goes through the share sheet to the app or person you choose.

Take01 isn’t directed at children and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
